According to a report by Forbes Online, Facebook is easing the restrictions on users in the media.
After
testing in Ireland, Facebook is releasing its Data Transfer Project
(DTP) tool to 200 million users in the United States and Canada. The DTP tool allows users to transfer all photos and videos currently stored on Facebook directly to Google Photos. This means you don't have to download one item at a time to save individual items.
The
idea is that these precious memories can be safely removed from
Facebook's servers and no longer stored on Facebook users' accounts. Facebook has also designed a special page to remove information from Google. Photos and videos can be easily taken from the DTP page of Facebook. Of course, this requires Google verification.
The idea is that Facebook may soon launch the DTP service in other countries as well.
